NOCCS enriches children's lives by engaging passionate professional educators to provide nurturing childcare, leading edge learning opportunities, and supports for families while we work in partnership with the needs of our community.
Founded by parents in 1994, and remaining a parent driven non-profit organization today, The North Okanagan Child Care and Montessori Preschool Society (NOCCS) has built a strong reputation in the North Okanagan for quality child care.
Over the years
the society has met the changing and evolving needs of the
community for child care and early childhood education, operating a variety of full-day and part-day early childhood development
and out-of-school programs in the Vernon area.
We are a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing
high quality education, care and recreation for children from infancy
to through elementary school.
Families use our services for social and education opportunities for
their children as well as for safe, nurturing care while parents work,
attend school or pursue individual interests.
Children benefit from opportunities to interact with others,
develop independence from parents, and learn in an environment that
respects and nurtures the pace of their individual development.
Children learn through play in a thoughtfully planned environment.
We support our local community by providing much-needed long term and reliable child care, stable employment opportunities, and leadership in professional early learning.
